“Melody People” - OUT 30.10.2026

Melody People is an album about storytelling, how melodies carry memory, and what happens to them when they travel. It draws on heritage and tradition, and on the question of what roots and folk art mean in a modern, globalized society.

The harmonica has always belonged to folk music. Roni Eytan re-imagines its voice, pushing it into territories it hasn't been to yet: from microtonal, maqam-based Middle Eastern melodies to intricate rhythms and lines rooted in jazz, yet always focused on the singing voice, on storytelling through melody.

The album is a homage to his grandfather, a natural storyteller, who shared with Roni melodies passed down through generations.
